About this role
Prefect is seeking a Developer Relations Engineer to shape how developers learn and adopt their orchestration and agentic platforms (Prefect, Dagster, FastMCP, and Horizon). This generalist role combines software development with public-facing communication, requiring strong Python skills and comfort on camera to create demos, technical content, and engage with the developer community. You'll be instrumental in building reference implementations and providing feedback to engineering as the product evolves.

- Improve developer experience by being an early adopter and providing feedback.
- Represent Prefect at industry events and engage in online communities.
- Identify and communicate developer pain points to the engineering team.
- Produce technical video content for various platforms.
