About this role
PrizePicks is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join their Account Services team, taking ownership of feature development in their React Native mobile app while guiding junior engineers and contributing to architectural decisions. You'll build high-quality TypeScript code for a fast-growing daily fantasy sports platform serving millions of users.
What you'll do
- Own features end-to-end from technical design through delivery, breaking down complex UI flows into manageable pieces
- Write clean, performant, well-tested TypeScript and React Native code that elevates codebase standards
- Participate in team architectural decisions around component patterns, state management, and performance optimization
- Mentor Software Engineers I and II through code reviews, pairing sessions, and design feedback
- Identify and act on opportunities to improve app performance, code quality, accessibility, and developer experience
- Participate in on-call rotation and contribute to incident response and root cause analysis
