Marketing Engineer

About this role

Profound seeks a Marketing Engineer to build AI-powered agents, automations, and data infrastructure that transform marketing into a scalable engineering discipline. You'll design systems for autonomous workflows, real-time data pipelines, and content distribution while optimizing brand visibility across search and AI models.

What you'll do

• Build marketing agents and automations for content drafting, social engagement, lead follow-up, and campaign reporting
• Own marketing data infrastructure connecting campaign performance, attribution tracking, and pipeline impact
• Create dashboards and reporting systems to maintain accurate, actionable marketing data
• Architect publishing and distribution systems integrating CMS, data sources, and distribution channels
• Implement structured data and schema markup frameworks at scale to improve AI discoverability
• Design and run experiments across workflows and content strategies, codifying successful approaches into reusable templates

• Python or JavaScript programming for data pipelines and API integrations
• Experience building AI agents or LLM-powered systems
• Structured data expertise (schema.org, JSON-LD)
• CMS platforms and headless architectures
