Operations Project Engineer
About this role
Lead end-to-end injection molding projects at Protolabs, serving as the central coordination point between customers and internal teams. You'll combine technical expertise with project management to drive operational excellence, improve processes, and support strategic business growth in digital manufacturing.
What you'll do
- Coordinate injection molding projects from initial customer engagement through production delivery
- Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and other departments to plan and execute programs
- Serve as primary liaison between customers and cross-functional internal teams
- Develop and improve operational processes, tools, and best practices for program management at scale
- Support Sales and Marketing initiatives to expand production molding capabilities and market presence
- Drive operational excellence and ensure successful project outcomes with measurable customer impact
