IAM Operations Engineer

About this role

Pure Storage is looking for an IAM Operations Engineer to manage and enhance their Identity and Access Management services, ensuring operational effectiveness and compliance in multi-cloud environments. The position involves overseeing IAM platforms and delivering optimal user experiences while maintaining security and governance standards.

What you'll do

• Manage IAM service performance metrics and ensure compliance with SLAs.
• Administer IAM platforms including Identity Providers and Privileged Access Management.
• Support incident management and assist in strategy development for IAM.
• Lead lifecycle management of IAM services, including maintenance and upgrades.
• Develop operational documentation and manage access reviews.
• Participate in on-call support for production systems.

What they're looking for

• Experience with enterprise IAM platforms like Okta and PAM solutions.
• Knowledge of SLAs, SLOs, and service performance metrics.
• Incident and problem management skills.
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools.
• Understanding of identity lifecycle management and RBAC.
• Scripting and automation proficiency (Python, PowerShell, etc.).
• Strong documentation and governance capabilities.
• Infrastructure as Code familiarity (Terraform, Ansible) is a plus.
