About this role
Pyka is seeking a Deployed Flight Test Engineer to support the commercial deployment and operation of their autonomous electric aircraft. This role involves traveling internationally to customer sites for extended periods to provide training, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth operations. You'll play a crucial role in standardizing procedures and providing feedback to the engineering team for product improvement.
What you'll do
- Support flight testing, customer training, and product support at international commercial deployment sites.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues remotely with Pyka’s engineering teams.
- Recommend product improvements and design changes.
- Perform fleet maintenance on aircraft, ground infrastructure, and related equipment.
- Conduct airworthiness testing and preparation of aircraft.
- Operate unmanned aircraft as Pilot In Command or Ground Control Operator.
