About this role

Pyka is seeking a Flight Test Engineer to support the development and testing of their autonomous electric aircraft. This multidisciplinary role involves both ground and flight operations, troubleshooting issues, and contributing to product improvements. The ideal candidate will have experience with UAVs, possess strong technical skills, and be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, with potential for travel to customer sites.

What you'll do

  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues at test sites.
  • Recommend product improvements and design changes.
  • Perform fleet maintenance on aircraft, infrastructure, and equipment.
  • Conduct airworthiness testing post-production.
  • Operate unmanned aircraft as Pilot In Command or Ground Control Operator.
  • Lead or participate in ground and flight test events.
