Infrastructure Engineer, Foundation

Pylon is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to join the Foundation team in Palo Alto, responsible for ensuring system reliability and developer productivity within a fast-scaling mortgage platform. Successful candidates will thrive in a challenging environment and be integral to maintaining high availability for critical transaction processes.

What you'll do

• Ensure systems remain highly available for mortgage transactions
• Enhance developer productivity through improved tooling and infrastructure
• Maintain code quality and mentor junior engineers
• Address and prevent system failures
• Provide and receive direct, instant feedback from peers

What they're looking for

• Experience with AWS
• Proficiency in TypeScript
• Knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL)
• Familiarity with GraphQL
• Understanding of observability tools like Honeycomb
• Experience with workflow orchestration tools
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Capacity to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
