Quartermaster is seeking a skilled Internal Tooling & Integration Engineer to build and maintain automated testing frameworks and integration pipelines for their maritime intelligence platform. This role focuses on ensuring the reliability of hardware-to-cloud data flows and empowering engineering teams to confidently deploy code. As a senior member of a fast-moving startup, you'll own the end-to-end test infrastructure and drive improvements to software quality.
What you'll do
- Design and build automated test frameworks and internal validation tools.
- Develop integration tests, regression suites, and data quality checks.
- Build backend services and automation scripts (Python, TypeScript, or Java).
- Establish CI/CD pipelines and automated alerting.
- Investigate and resolve system failures across distributed systems.
- Partner with engineering teams to define test plans and benchmarks.
