What you'll do

  • Specify layered protection measures like optics, coatings, and beam containment.
  • Design interlock and access control systems with fail-safe behavior.
  • Define scattered and stray radiation detection systems.
  • Develop and maintain laser safety standards across ANSI, IEC, BS EN, and JIS.
  • Conduct hazard surveys and investigate incidents.
