This role will be instrumental in ensuring reactor safety, performance, and compliance through detector design, modeling, and integration. What you'll do

  • Design and qualify radiation detection systems (fission chambers, ion chambers).
  • Support detector response modeling using radiation transport codes.
  • Evaluate sensor survivability under extreme conditions.
  • Integrate sensor outputs into reactor monitoring and control systems.
  • Support verification and validation of instrumentation.
  • Communicate expertise and feedback to cross-functional engineering teams.
