Mobile Engineer, Android

About this role

Ramp seeks an Android Engineer to develop and enhance its mobile app serving thousands of businesses in financial automation. You'll design new features, establish engineering standards, and integrate AI-driven capabilities while collaborating with product and design teams in a fast-paced fintech environment.

What you'll do

• Design, build, and launch new products and features for the Android app
• Establish engineering processes, tools, and systems to scale the codebase
• Conduct code reviews and set engineering standards for the team
• Partner with Product and Design to identify and prioritize key features
• Gather and act on customer feedback to continuously improve the product
• Integrate AI and intelligent agents into the mobile experience

What they're looking for

• Kotlin and Jetpack Compose for Android development
• Mobile design patterns and best practices
• Experience launching apps or features to large user bases
• React and TypeScript (web development experience preferred)
• Python, Flask, SQL, and backend development (nice to have)
• MVVM architecture, coroutines, and Gradle
• Google Play Console management
• Fast-paced learning and problem-solving mindset
