Software Engineer, AI Forward Deployed

About this role

Ramp seeks an AI Forward Deployed Engineer to build intelligent agents serving enterprise customers managing billions in corporate spend. You'll work directly with customers to understand needs, design solutions, and deploy autonomous agents that expand Ramp's capabilities across their financial platform.

What you'll do

• Develop end-to-end software solutions and agents tailored to enterprise customer requirements
• Design and implement internal and external AI agents that solve critical customer blockers
• Partner with Sales, Solutions, and Customer Success teams to activate and expand customer value
• Own product roadmap decisions by specializing in core areas and balancing custom vs. platform-wide solutions
• Gather customer insights and translate pain points into product specifications
• Support large customers with direct technical engagement and customized implementations
