Software Engineer - Cloud Platform

Realtor.com® is looking for a Software Engineer to enhance its cloud infrastructure, focusing on developer experience and automation within the Cloud Governance team. The role involves developing tools and integrations to optimize internal workflows on AWS while ensuring compliance and security standards are met.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain Backstage instances and plugins
• Create automated software templates for AWS environments
• Write scripts for cloud compliance and resource management
• Integrate operational metrics into development tools
• Ensure adherence to security standards in automated processes
• Manage commitments and proactively address blockers

• Proficiency in React and Node.js
• Experience with Python for automation
• Knowledge of AWS services like EKS and IAM
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools
• Experience with Backstage and CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of REST and GraphQL APIs
