About this role
Realm is looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to act as the primary technical liaison for clients, ensuring successful integrations and on-site deployments in industrial settings. This role combines customer engagement with hands-on technical work, focusing on delivering tailored solutions that meet real-world operational needs.
What you'll do
- Spend ~50% of time on-site with customers across the US
- Understand customer operations through direct engagement with stakeholders
- Rapidly prototype tools and integrations in the field
- Troubleshoot complex operational or system issues
- Translate field insights into technical requirements for engineering
- Lead all technical integration work including APIs and data pipelines

- 2+ years in software engineering or mission operations
- Technical fluency and coding skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug code
- Low ego with strong collaboration skills
- Experience with enterprise and government products
- Familiarity with Git and Linux
