About this role

Realm is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer in Birmingham, AL, to serve as the main technical contact for field customers. The role will involve hands-on integration and deployment work while translating operational needs into technical solutions.

What you'll do

• Spend over 50% of time onsite with customers
• Understand customer operations by shadowing users
• Rapidly prototype tools and integrations in the field
• Troubleshoot complex operational issues
• Translate field insights into technical requirements
• Lead technical integration work including APIs and data pipelines

• 2+ years in software engineering or mission operations
• Strong coding and debugging abilities
• Experience with enterprise or governmental products
