Backend/AI Engineer

About this role

Reducto is seeking a Backend/AI Engineer to enhance its API that facilitates document parsing for numerous companies. The ideal candidate will integrate LLMs, optimize workflows, and contribute to building robust document processing infrastructure.

What you'll do

• Integrate and optimize LLM calls for document tasks
• Enhance API design and pre-processing algorithms based on feedback
• Develop and scale document processing pipelines for various formats
• Experiment with techniques to improve LLM accuracy and reduce latency
• Create internal tools for analyzing failure cases
• Collaborate with founders and customers on product direction

What they're looking for

• 2+ years of experience in application development
• Proficiency in Python
• Experience with integrating LLMs into production systems
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Ability to iterate and experiment quickly
• Familiarity with document processing and parsing techniques
• Experience in building internal tools as needed
• Knowledge of machine learning and AI developments
