About this role

Reflect Orbital seeks a Ground Software Engineer to build and operate mission-critical software that controls satellite operations, including telemetry processing, command workflows, and operator tools. You'll work across cloud infrastructure, networking, and ground station hardware in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

What you'll do

  • Design and develop ground software for telemetry ingestion, processing, command generation, and uplink workflows
  • Build operator dashboards and tools to support mission control operations
  • Create automation for pass execution, routine commanding, and alerting systems
  • Deploy and operate systems on AWS and Kubernetes with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code
  • Integrate ground station hardware including radios, antennas, and network interfaces
  • Provide 24/7 on-call support for mission-critical ground systems and troubleshoot cross-stack issues
