About this role

Relativity Space seeks an AI Software Engineer to build AI-powered applications and agents that support rocket manufacturing and launch operations. You'll work across the full development lifecycle, integrating foundation models and LLM technologies with cloud infrastructure to deliver reliable production systems used by engineers across the company.

What you'll do

  • Design and implement AI-powered applications and agents using foundation models and orchestration frameworks
  • Build end-to-end software solutions from concept through production deployment with continuous integration
  • Develop reliable, production-grade AI systems with strong evaluation and monitoring practices
  • Partner directly with engineering and operations teams to define requirements and iterate on solutions
  • Work with data infrastructure including Spark, Iceberg, DuckDB, and vector search systems
  • Contribute to a modular, scalable software platform powering autonomous operations
