About this role
Relativity Space is seeking a Power Systems Engineer I to join their Stennis Test team, focusing on electrical systems for rocketry test facilities. The role involves project management and hands-on troubleshooting, contributing to the development of the Terran R vehicle.
What you'll do
- Define electrical requirements and develop solutions across various projects
- Act as owner's representative to external consultants and contractors
- Manage electrical utility construction activities for test stand facilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot existing electrical distribution systems
- Lead design of electrical distribution systems for the Terran R test complex
- Oversee commissioning and maintenance of systems and equipment
What they're looking for
- Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 1 year experience with electrical power systems
- Familiarity with NFPA 70 (NEC)
- Experience in project management or execution
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or Bluebeam
- Knowledge of electrical distribution design
