Relativity Space is seeking a Power Systems Engineer I to join their Stennis Test team, focusing on electrical systems for rocketry test facilities. The role involves project management and hands-on troubleshooting, contributing to the development of the Terran R vehicle.

What you'll do

  • Define electrical requirements and develop solutions across various projects
  • Act as owner's representative to external consultants and contractors
  • Manage electrical utility construction activities for test stand facilities
  • Maintain and troubleshoot existing electrical distribution systems
  • Lead design of electrical distribution systems for the Terran R test complex
  • Oversee commissioning and maintenance of systems and equipment

What they're looking for

  • Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 1 year experience with electrical power systems
  • Familiarity with NFPA 70 (NEC)
  • Experience in project management or execution
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or Bluebeam
  • Knowledge of electrical distribution design
