Relativity Space is seeking a Propulsion Engineer I focused on developing flow control devices for the Aeon R engine and Terran R launch vehicle. This role emphasizes hands-on problem-solving throughout the design, analysis, and qualification stages of rocket propulsion systems.
What you'll do
- Design and analyze cryogenic and pneumatic valves
- Conduct detailed fluid, thermal, and structural analysis
- Plan and execute development and qualification tests for valves
- Support engine and vehicle testing of flow control products
- Perform trade studies for system requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and heat transfer
- Experience with Matlab, Python, or C++
- Strong analytical skills
