About this role

RF-SMART seeks a Hardware Support Engineer to provide technical support for mobile devices and label printers, troubleshooting complex issues for customers and working with ERP systems like Dynamics AX, NetSuite, and Oracle. You'll handle escalated tickets, configure hardware, and create documentation while working in a hybrid role in Jacksonville.

What you'll do

  • Troubleshoot and resolve escalated technical issues for hand-held devices and label printers via phone, email, chat, and video
  • Perform root cause analysis and investigate complex product issues for internal and external customers
  • Configure and support RF-SMART hardware integrated with Dynamics AX, NetSuite, Oracle Cloud, and JDE systems
  • Configure Telnet software such as Velocity and StayLinked for warehouse and manufacturing environments
  • Assist with printer installations and create knowledgebase articles documenting common resolutions
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide feedback on design issues and develop customer-focused solutions
