Validator Engineer

About this role

As a Validator Engineer at Ritual, you will ensure the performance, uptime, and reliability of blockchain validators designed for AI-native operations. You will oversee technical deployment, upgrades, and support for validators to enhance participation in both testnet and mainnet environments.

What you'll do

• Manage validator uptime and performance
• Automate bare-metal and cloud deployments
• Orchestrate zero-downtime upgrades and changes
• Optimize execution and consensus client performance
• Maintain documentation and support validator operators
• Ensure healthy staking participation

What they're looking for

• 4+ years in high-availability distributed systems
• Experience with PoS validators on EVM-based chains
• Proficient in Go and Rust
• Strong knowledge of protocol-level concepts
• Expertise in Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD
• Advanced Linux skills with networking knowledge
• Passionate about observability
