Systems Engineer, Body Controls (Safety)

This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the design, validation, and compliance of passive safety solutions in line with automotive standards.

What you'll do

• Define and document requirements for passive safety features and vehicle control systems
• Collaborate with hardware and software teams for alignment on features
• Support the verification of test cases and ensure requirement traceability
• Conduct functional analyses for vehicle quality assurance
• Ensure safety compliance with automotive standards
• Coordinate delivery and timing for development milestones

What they're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or related field
• 2+ years of systems design and integration experience
• Technical writing skills for engineering documentation
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience with passive safety system definitions
• Familiarity with software-defined vehicle design
• System verification and test automation experience
• Knowledge of ISO 26262 and SOTIF
