Android Engineer

About this role

Join Robinhood's Futures Engineering team as an Android Engineer to build mobile experiences for futures trading. You'll develop customer-facing features using modern Android technologies while collaborating with backend, product, and design teams in their New York office.

What you'll do

• Build customer-facing Android features for futures trading platform
• Own features from design through implementation and launch
• Develop smooth, stable products using Kotlin and latest Android APIs
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, backend, and data teams
• Translate complex trading concepts into intuitive mobile workflows
• Ensure high code quality and maintainability across the codebase

What they're looking for

• Kotlin or Java
• Android SDK and Jetpack Compose
• MVVM architecture
• Coroutines & Flow or RxJava
• Retrofit and Room
• Product sense and collaboration
• Technical communication
• 2+ years Android development experience
