Software Engineer

About this role

Robinhood is seeking a Software Engineer in Menlo Park to build core financial platforms and products that democratize finance. You'll design and implement scalable solutions for trading, market data, settlement, and security while mentoring teammates and collaborating across functions in a fast-paced fintech environment.

What you'll do

• Build and release product and platform features for trading, market data, accounting, authentication, and security systems
• Design and implement REST APIs and messaging middleware solutions using Go and Python
• Optimize database queries and design scalable data storage solutions for complex financial processes
• Identify and fix scalability bottlenecks through testing and performance analysis
• Integrate with trading partners' systems to expand market access for customers
• Mentor team members and guide complex projects from concept to completion
