Software Engineer

About this role

Robinhood seeks a Software Engineer to design and develop backend services and APIs for their fintech platform in Menlo Park. You'll build scalable systems powering product features, collaborate across teams, and help shape strategic initiatives while maintaining high standards for reliability and security.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using established patterns
• Build backend systems powering product features and internal workflows
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end product features
• Support system reliability, performance, and scalability in production
• Participate in code reviews, on-call rotations, and incident response
• Document APIs, data models, and system behavior for maintainability
