About this role
Join Robinhood's backend engineering team for summer 2027 and own a meaningful project from conception to production. You'll work on financial infrastructure powering millions of users, leveraging Python, Go, PostgreSQL, and cloud technologies while learning from experienced mentors in a fast-paced fintech environment.
What you'll do
- Own a high-impact backend project end-to-end, from scoping through production launch
- Design, build, test, and release software solutions meeting financial platform correctness and scalability requirements
- Maintain and scale existing systems using Python/Django, Go, PostgreSQL, Kafka, Redis, and Kubernetes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve critical problems across the organization
- Work directly with a dedicated mentor to deepen technical and domain expertise
- Operate in an in-person environment with at least 3 days per week onsite presence
