As a Software Engineer on the Co-Experience team at Roblox, you will enhance the platform's social ecosystem, focusing on safe and engaging interactions among users. This role involves improving the party system and building systems capable of handling significant concurrent user traffic.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, and engineering
• Maintain and scale the Roblox party system for millions of users
• Develop service infrastructure for enhanced user co-experience
• Integrate systems with other engineering teams
• Own projects from conception to deployment
• Mentor interns

• Degree in computer science or related field
• Experience with microservice architectures
• Building systems for consumer-facing APIs
• Proficiency in at least one compiled language (C#, C++, Java, Golang)
