RF Test Engineer I/II

About this role

Rocket Lab is seeking an RF Test Engineer I/II to support the testing of RF components and spacecraft within their Space Systems team. The role involves designing test setups, conducting tests, and troubleshooting production issues in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll do

• Design test setups and develop test plans
• Conduct testing and post-process test data
• Train and support production technicians
• Establish and maintain test equipment
• Develop and document test reports
• Collaborate with RF engineers for test input

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant technical discipline
• Knowledge of RF components and characteristics
• Understanding of RF test and measurement principles
• Experience with EMI/EMC testing
• Proficiency in RF test equipment like VNAs and spectrum analyzers
• Ability to automate testing through scripts
• Problem-solving and analytical skills
