Stage Fluids Engineer II

Rocket Lab is seeking a Stage Fluids Engineer II to design and test fluid systems for their Neutron launch vehicle. The role focuses on the development of plumbing systems that ensure reliable and reusable rocket operations.

What you'll do

• Design plumbing systems and components
• Analyze systems in dynamic launch environments
• Model system behavior under various conditions
• Test and qualify fluid systems and components
• Manage implementation of systems within the launch vehicle
• Collaborate with various engineering teams

What they're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 2+ years in a hardware-rich environment
• Strong understanding of fluid dynamics and thermodynamics
• Design around fluid components
• Knowledge of DfM/DfAM and machining processes
• Experience with integration processes
• Ability to manage engineering projects
