About this role
Roku seeks a Software Engineer to design and maintain content ingestion pipelines processing millions of assets for their ACR platform. You'll build APIs, batch jobs, and infrastructure across AWS/GCP and on-premises environments while coordinating with content partners and a Seoul-based engineering team.
What you'll do
- Design, implement, and maintain APIs and batch jobs for asset ingestion, processing, and distribution
- Create and manage infrastructure for cloud (AWS/GCP) and on-premises deployments using Terraform and Ansible
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability using Prometheus, Grafana, and Alertmanager
- Participate in on-call rotations for critical production services
- Optimize system performance, reduce costs, and manage technical debt
- Communicate with US-based content partners to gather requirements and coordinate data flows
