About this role
SageOx is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to be their builder at the customer boundary. This role involves directly partnering with customers, understanding their needs, and translating that feedback into product improvements and features. You'll be the first point of contact, responsible for troubleshooting issues, designing solutions, and educating users to become power users.
What you'll do
- Engage directly with customers in their environments (e.g., Slack).
- Onboard new customers with in-person setup and workflow design.
- Build and ship fixes and small features directly into the core codebase.
- Create educational resources such as documentation and how-to guides.
- Provide regular customer feedback reports to the engineering team.
- Identify and implement ways to shorten time-to-value for new customers.
