Wire Harness Design Engineer

About this role

The Wire Harness Design Engineer will manage the design of electrical interconnects for aerospace systems, focusing on production electronics and actuation systems. This hands-on role involves working closely with cross-functional teams and requires qualifications in aerospace wire harness design.

What you'll do

• Design wire harnesses for aerospace actuation systems
• Maintain documentation including schematics and bills of material
• Author functional test procedures for harness assemblies
• Support qualification testing and oversee initial builds
• Collaborate with DERs during certification activities
• Drive design for manufacturability and reliability

What they're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in related engineering field
• 3+ years in commercial aerospace wire harness design
• Experience with functional test procedures
• Knowledge of AS9102 first article inspection
• Familiarity with aircraft wiring standards
• Experience with electrical CAD tools
• U.S. Person status under ITAR/EAR
• Ability to travel up to 35%
