SambaNova is looking for a Runtime Engineer to join their seasoned team in San Jose, California. The role involves developing and optimizing system software for high-performance AI and machine learning applications, enhancing the runtime stack, and supporting distributed systems.

What you'll do

• Design and implement new features for the runtime stack
• Support system software for next generation silicon
• Create user-space libraries for optimal hardware utilization
• Develop tools for job and hardware management
• Collaborate with hardware, ML application, compiler, and DevOps teams

What they're looking for

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field
• 3-5 years of industry experience
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python
• Experience with user space libraries and operating systems
• Understanding of distributed systems
• Performance tuning skills
• Good teamwork and planning abilities
