About this role
Samsara seeks an Enterprise Sales Engineer to drive public sector adoption of its Connected Operations Cloud platform in the Eastern region. You'll combine technical expertise in IoT hardware, sensors, and cloud infrastructure with consultative selling to help government agencies transform their fleet and asset operations.
What you'll do
- Lead technical pre-sales cycles for large public sector customers alongside account executives
- Demonstrate IoT hardware, dash cameras, sensors, and cloud dashboard solutions tailored to agency needs
- Design and present system integration strategies using APIs and third-party connections
- Manage hardware installation planning and carrier network data collection approaches
- Build customer relationships and establish trust throughout complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes
- Collaborate with sales leadership to execute strategic deals and overcome technical objections
