Sales Engineer - Mid Market - Southeast

About this role

Samsara seeks a Sales Engineer to drive IoT adoption in the Southeast, bridging technical expertise and customer relationships to help modernize logistics, fleet management, and supply chain operations. You'll deliver hands-on product demonstrations, manage hardware deployments, and guide customers through cloud platform integration while traveling up to 50% of the time.

What you'll do

• Conduct product demonstrations and technical discovery sessions with mid-market prospects in logistics, fleet, and field services
• Design and present IoT solution architectures, including hardware installation strategies and cloud infrastructure integration
• Develop proof-of-concept implementations and value assessments to close deals
• Write API scripts and integrations to solve customer-specific operational challenges
• Guide installation teams and customers through deployment best practices and troubleshooting
• Act as technical liaison between product and sales teams, gathering feedback and beta program insights
