About this role
Saronic Technologies is looking for a licensed Chief Engineer for its autonomous surface vessel, the Marauder. The role involves overseeing engine room operations, ensuring marine system integrity, and maintaining high safety and regulatory standards.
What you'll do
- Oversee engine room operations and machinery maintenance
- Be on-call during vessel operations for issue resolution
- Manage inventory and spare parts ordering
- Participate in planned maintenance scheduling
- Assist with shipboard mission objectives
- Develop engineering processes before vessel launch

- U.S. Coast Guard MMC Chief Engineer certification
- Proficiency in maritime engineering systems
