About this role
Saronic Technologies is looking for a Commissioning Engineer to oversee the commissioning and operational readiness of marine systems on the autonomous vessel Marauder. The role requires strong problem-solving skills and experience in marine engineering, particularly with propulsion and electrical systems.
What you'll do
- Support marine engineering operations during production and testing
- Troubleshoot diesel engines and auxiliary systems
- Guide and provide technical oversight to Chief Engineers
- Oversee commissioning and testing of vessel systems
- Ensure maintenance of vessel machinery
- Coordinate with shipyard and vendors during construction

- Senior-level marine engineering experience
- Familiarity with Caterpillar, Cummins, and Wärtsilä
- Troubleshooting abilities in propulsion systems
