About this role
Saronic Technologies is seeking an Electrical Engineer to manage and optimize electrical infrastructure for advanced maritime technology. The role involves overseeing design standards, project management, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes for high, medium, and low voltage systems.
What you'll do
- Develop and maintain electrical design and construction standards.
- Lead early programming for capital projects focusing on electrical systems.
- Issue RFPs and manage proposals from external partners.
- Review third-party electrical designs providing expert feedback.
- Perform field visits to oversee electrical installations and commissioning.
- Manage small capital project designs as necessary.
What they're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Licensed engineer (PE preferred).
- 5+ years in electrical system design and construction.
- Knowledge of electrical utility negotiation.
- Proficient with NEC, NFPA, and other relevant codes.
- Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit.
- Strong project management and communication skills.
- Innovative problem-solving abilities.
