Saronic Technologies is looking for a QA/QC Engineer to oversee quality assurance and control during facility construction projects in Austin. This role requires strong MEP systems knowledge and includes responsibilities around inspections, compliance checks, and process improvement to enhance project quality standards.
What you'll do
- Execute QA/QC processes for construction and improvement projects focused on MEP systems.
- Perform field inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
- Coordinate with project teams to resolve quality issues promptly.
- Review construction documents for compliance and address construction concerns.
- Monitor installation and testing of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Assist in the development of quality documentation and inspection plans.
What they're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- 5+ years in construction or QA/QC experience
- Understanding of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and controls systems
- Field inspection experience
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Familiarity with construction processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software
