Mechanical Engineer – Infrastructure

Saronic Technologies is seeking a licensed Mechanical Engineer to lead the mechanical infrastructure for its maritime operations. This position involves setting standards for various mechanical systems and playing a key role in the capital project lifecycle, requiring expertise in HVAC, plumbing, and process utilities.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain mechanical design standards.
• Participate in project scope development and documentation.
• Issue requests for proposals for capital projects.
• Review and provide input on third-party mechanical designs.
• Conduct field visits during construction projects.
• Manage small capital projects as needed.

What they're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering
• Licensed engineer (PE preferred)
• 5+ years in industrial mechanical systems design
• Strong knowledge of building codes
• Proficient in AutoCAD and/or Revit
• Experience with capital project life cycle
• Innovative problem-solving skills
• Design management experience preferred
