Perception and Autonomy Engineer

Saronic Technologies is looking for a Perception Engineer to create perception systems for autonomous surface vessels, contributing to advancements in maritime autonomy. This role offers multiple levels of entry and focuses on enhancing vessel performance with minimal human intervention.

What you'll do

• Design algorithms for sensing and navigation of boats
• Develop metrics to analyze boat performance improvements
• Work with large data systems for model training and evaluation

• Strong programming fundamentals
• Knowledge of operating systems
• Familiarity with deep learning frameworks
• Understanding of filters and their applications
• Proficiency in Rust
• Experience with sensor fusion and signal processing
• Low latency inference and tracking expertise
• Path planning algorithm experience
