Shipyard Industrial Engineer

Saronic Technologies is looking for an Industrial Engineer to enhance shipyard manufacturing by designing efficient layouts and processes. The role involves creating capacity models, optimizing workflows, and ensuring automation integration across various shipyard functions.

What you'll do

• Design end-to-end shipyard layouts
• Define building footprints and bay sizing
• Establish square footage requirements for various functions
• Develop capacity and throughput models
• Support automation-first processes in layouts
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and finance teams

What they're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering
• 5+ years in facility layout or manufacturing system design
• Knowledge of material flow optimization
• Experience with heavy manufacturing
• Background in greenfield facility design
• Proficiency in 3D facility modeling
• Familiarity with automation-enabled production
• Experience with design and shop-floor collaboration
