Saronic Technologies is looking for a Software Engineer, Generalist to contribute to the development of software systems for autonomous surface vessels (ASVs) in Austin, TX. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate software components and optimize performance for maritime operations.

What you'll do

• Design and develop software solutions for ASVs
• Engage in all phases of the software development lifecycle
• Create scalable and maintainable software for maritime operations
• Implement algorithms for navigation and control systems
• Optimize software to meet DoD standards
• Conduct testing and validation of software components

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience in software development for autonomous systems
• Proficient in C++, Python, or Java
• Familiarity with tools like ROS, OpenCV, and TensorFlow
• Understanding of sensor fusion and SLAM technologies
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills
