Systems Infrastructure Software Engineer

Saronic Technologies is looking for an Infrastructure Software Engineer to enhance and manage their cloud and server systems, primarily for supporting autonomous maritime operations. The role combines infrastructure design, system administration, and development support to ensure efficient and reliable operations.

What you'll do

• Design and manage cloud infrastructure
• Optimize build systems in on-premise and GovCloud environments
• Implement security policies and manage system compliance
• Automate server configuration and deployment
• Support developer workflows and tooling
• Maintain cloud-to-ground data synchronization

• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform)
• Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLANs)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Proficient in Linux server development
• Understanding of security and compliance frameworks
• Ability to optimize resource usage and cost
• Experience in build systems and operational documentation
• Strong incident response and monitoring skills
