Join the Fundamental Equity COO team as a Software Engineer to enhance backend services and AI integration for investment professionals. You will develop crucial APIs, data pipelines, and collaborate closely with quant researchers to drive technological advancements in the investment process.

What you'll do

• Write and maintain high-quality, structured code
• Develop and manage internal APIs and backend services
• Maintain data pipelines and workflows in containerized environments
• Integrate AI capabilities tailored to business needs
• Create an AI plugin and skills library for investment professionals
• Design structured databases to support research and operational workflows

• Proficiency in Python and SQL
• Experience with FastAPI and backend services
• Familiarity with AI/LLM integration
• Containerization knowledge (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with workflow orchestration (Prefect, Airflow)
• Strong software engineering fundamentals
• AWS infrastructure management
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams
