Scout AI is seeking a Software Engineer for the Agent Harnessing team to develop the architecture for AI agents interacting with real-world systems. The role focuses on integration, simulation, and building tools essential for controlling autonomous robotic operations in defense applications.

What you'll do

• Design the agent harness used in Scout AI's agentic stack
• Integrate full-stack software with physical hardware systems
• Develop simulation frameworks for agent training
• Connect AI models to real-world systems
• Fine-tune AI models and manage data acquisition pipelines
• Collaborate with warfighters to create efficient agent systems

• 5+ years in full-stack engineering
• Experience with agentic product development
• Systems-oriented engineering skills
• Integration with physical hardware or low-level systems
• Familiarity with simulation environments and game engines
