What you'll do

  • Design mechanical systems and components for AI-driven robots, conducting site visits to gather requirements
  • Create detailed 3D CAD models and technical drawings for fabrication and assembly
  • Perform mechanical simulations and FEA testing to validate designs before production
  • Build, test, and iterate on physical prototypes, incorporating lessons learned into design revisions
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers on fabrication quality, lead times, and cost optimization
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate mechanical components with electrical and software systems
