Embedded ML Engineer – Gesture Recognition

Sesame is looking for an Embedded ML Engineer specializing in gesture recognition to develop and implement algorithms for wearable devices. The role involves collaboration across teams and focus on creating engaging user interactions through advanced machine learning techniques.

What you'll do

• Design and deploy gesture detection algorithms on embedded hardware
• Adapt larger ML models to fit mobile-class devices
• Oversee the entire development cycle from design to optimization
• Collaborate with hardware teams to ensure seamless integration
• Research and develop innovative approaches to achieve performance goals

What they're looking for

• 10+ years in Software Engineering or ML Research
• Experience with embedded systems
• Proficiency in Python and C/C++
• Familiarity with PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Hands-on ML workflow experience
• Strong background in signal processing
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
